The first Monday of November I noticed that the forecast for Half Moon Bay was almost 80. We've lived here in the area for a year and a half and have never seen that kind of warmth at the beach. So, I hurried and called a couple of friends to see if they wanted a last minute trip to the beach to take advantage of the sunshine. Word spread quickly and we ended up with a big, fun group.
We didn't plan anything for the day, that is the beauty of the beach! We each brought some snacks and some towels and the afternoon was just perfect. The kids played and played while we chatted and just enjoyed the sunshine. We were there for hours and could have stayed longer until we ran out of food!
Lili is a beach girl. She could chase the waves for hours. She'll stop for a quick snack but then she's right back at it! We did miss Kylan on this trip because he's so much fun to play with. It doesn't matter how cold the water is, he'll be right down there with Lili.
