Fallon Nevada is not nearly as exotic as some of the other places we thought about visiting, but we ended up having a really amazing visit there. The girls loved touring my uncle's farm, feeding his animals, and watching the baby chicks hatch! Sometimes, the simple things are the most memorable.
Just hanging with the uncles - with Kenzie representing uncle Andrew and cousin Scotty who is much more like an uncle than a "first cousin once removed"! Scotty is headed to Ireland and Scotland on his mission and had his farewell this weekend - we were so glad we could make it!
I was so proud of Lili for wanting to help and for being willing to get this close to the horses. She was a great helper and was really, really brave!
No surprise here - Serelle loved feeding the horses and laughed every time the horses lips tickled her hands!
My uncle Rich has really gotten into chickens, he raises hundreds of them and hatches the eggs in his garage. The kids were able to actually see this little guy crack himself out of his shell. It was really a miracle and they talked about it for days!
The day ended with a massive Easter egg hunt in the big barn. There were tons of eggs and the girls loved running through all the dirt with their cousins to find them!

An Easter egg hunt in a hen house?! Jackpot! I can definitely see how a trip like this would be so fun. Horses, chickens, and cowgirl boots are all you really need to have a good time.
