San Diego 2010

jumping in the waves single-handedly taught Lili to count 1-2-3
she even went out with dad to catch some of the "high waves"

you would never know that this was one of our coldest years in San Diego
apparently Serelle doesn't feel cold, only fun
she must get that from her dad, because it certainly does not come from me

the only thing better than building a sand castle is watching 5 kids try to crash it down
thanks Bryan for inviting "castle-building" into the family
wait a minute...i just realized how they came up with their daughter's name

words cannot possibly describe how cute this is
seriously, what more need be said

thanks to Papa Rhino for always bringing something new each year
the stand-up paddle board was a huge hit for everyone

see?
the bay day was our only sunny day this year, and hence, our favorite of the week

evidence that mom was not the one getting in the cold water to play with the girls
although, thanks to Kylan and my new wetsuit some real progress was made this year
the surf trip didn't end in tears = progress
i willingly went out to boogie board = progress
i willingly went out for a second surf trip = well, i came in from that one after about 10 minutes, so i guess there's still room for improvement

ok, you try getting everyone to look at the camera
the pyramid was barely surpassed in coolness by attempts at the "dirty dancing" lift

they are going to be crushed when he brings his first girlfriend on a family trip and they don't get to monopolize every second of his day

san diego is one of our favorite trips
thanks so much to Ken and Elise for providing us all with memories that will last forever

I love how many trips your family takes together each year. Love how close everyone is.
