Meridian, ID

June 12-14, 2011

My one and only sister Julianne and her husband Jayson moved with their two sweet girls to Meridian, Idaho the beginning of May. Jayson just graduated from Creighton Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska and will be working with his brother in Idaho. Kylan and I decided to squeeze in a short road trip to visit them in Idaho. My cute cousin Josie - Lili's BFF - joined us for the trip and was a life saver. She is the best little helper and loves the little girls. She ended up staying with Julianne and helping her drive down that weekend for Jessie's wedding. This was Josie's first trip without her parents and she was a little nervous so Julianne and I tried to stay up late watching movies to help her feel less homesick. She was a trooper and ended up having a great time.

We spent most of our time playing at this amazing park. It's just around the corner from Julianne's darling house and we seriously could not get enough of it. Swings, tire swings, slides, playgrounds, splash pads, climbing walls...you name it, they had it.


With Uncle KyKy and Odee there to play and entertain the kiddos, Julianne and I had lots of time to chat, hold baby Sophie and catch up.


These three cousins are pretty good pals and had a lot of fun playing together. Minus a couple of toy-sharing issues, they did great together and were so sad when it was time to go home =(
