Halloween morning started out on a spooky note when we saw that the monsters had gotten to our breakfast! They had turned our waffles orange and our syrup green! (Kylan with the food coloring) Lili was convinced this was a true story and it took some reassuring to get her to eat her breakfast!

I had forgotten how magical Halloween is for elementary school kids. Everyone is dressed up, there is music, books, parades, and lots of yummy treats! It was so fun to be there with Lili and watch all of the wonderful Y5 Halloween celebrations!

This sweet group of kids has become Lili's primary group of friends here in CA. It is so cute to watch her walk into school saying, "Hi Tamia", "Hey Ashton", etc. I am so glad she's been able to be a part of this amazing program.

holy cow, you played catch up! i loved every minute of it! i'm so glad you guys are having so much fun in Cali. sounds like you're all integrated - friends, school, family outings, football games! i'm so happy for you guys!
