The Support

Kylan will be the first one to admit that he could not have completed this monumental accomplishment on his own. it took the love, support, and smiling faces of many people to help him make it through the day.
special thanks to Lili for being such a good helper and for cheering extra loud every time she saw daddy.

the final inspection and packing of the gear bags
special thanks to Kade for all his help with the girls and with the professional-grade video

america runs on dunkin donuts
this was how we ate every meal of the day -- on the ground, in a hurry, trying to contain wiggly girls.
special thanks to Mimi for taking such good care of the girls all day long so that I could stay with Ky.
daddy's biggest fans.
special thanks to Lindsey for making the t-shirts a reality, and for staying with us from before dawn to well after dusk,

Castle was so good at keeping both herself and the rest of us entertained with her sweet personality and amazing flexibility -- both physically and emotionally as she was with us ALL DAY LONG too, and I don't remember ANY crying. wow.
special thanks to Bryan for taking work off to orient Ky to the course, for taking extra video footage, and for the absolutely essential moral support during the last loop of the run.

however, it looks like castle took Kylan's harvard ding pretty seriously. Lindsey wins the best sign contest. hands down.

another meal on the ground huddled next to the building to get out of the chilly wind. five guys burgers and fries with hot chocolate never tasted so good!
special thanks to Rhino for dinner and for never taking a minute off from the Kylan Lundeen support team.

what a little angel.
special thanks to Serelle for only crying and whining a little bit, and for taking a nice long nap for Mimi!

the whole cheering section -- Kylan definitely had the best support group of the day!
special thanks to Remi, Cole and Smith for driving all day from UT to make it just in time for the finish line!
special thanks to Todd Erb who made it just in time to run the last 1/4 mile with Kylan. maybe the best moment of Kylan's entire marathon was coming around the corner and seeing Todd there with the "one up", shouting the "pain train whoo whoo" at the top of his lungs.

I LOVE MY IRONMAN!!!

special thanks to the rest of our family and friends for the endless support sent via text, calls, and email. I don't think I could have made it without you!

So proud of you Ky, and so impressed with what a good support team Jen was. Yes, all by herself, she was a team! Anyway, you accomplished something amazing. (I always classified you as tenacious.)

Good grief, looking at all the pictures makes you realize how incredible this accomplishment is. I've said it before, I'll say it again.. Kylan you are amazing and you are officially excused from ever doing anything like that again.
