Those of you that have attended the Mesa Easter Pageant should be very familiar with the popularity of that pageant! You really do have to be there at 2 pm to save decent seats for an 8 pm show! Thanks so much to the Crosland family for fighting off the ushers to save our seats for us! The girls had enjoyed a long day of playing at Castle's birthday, swimming at Cole and Remi's and must have been hungry...Serelle ate two WHOLE pieces of pizza!
Lindsey and Brian met while they were both in the Easter Pageant, so participating in it as a family was really neat for them. Brian played Peter and Lindsey and Castle were "multitude woman and baby"! Although Castle did have a starring role as the baby that Jesus held as he taught and blessed the multitude. She played her role perfectly and right after her scene Lili turned to me and said, "Mom I have a secret...I want Jesus to hold me too!" Both she and Serelle were really interested in the show and I think they'll both remember it for a long time! The Croslands all did an amazing job and we were so happy we were able to be there for the pageant.
The Mesa Easter Pageant has been going for 41 years and they did such an amazing job. The costumes, the choreography, the stage, the sound, the special effects, the missionaries gathering referrals left and right...everything about the production was perfect. It was the perfect way to get us all in the Easter spirit!
