Frosty the Snowman
Man does our daddy know how to build a snowman or what?!?!
A special thanks to my sweet husband for making time to do fun things with his girls
that they'll always remember, we love you!
"Christmas" dinner. We tried a new recipe this year for Christmas dinner, grilled-stuffed-flank steak.
It was an intricate and highly involved recipe, but the time spent together in the kitchen made it a fun experience.
Final note on the meal: not worth the work.Just let Rob do his thing next time.
Roasted potatoes, rolls & homemade jam, pretzel jello,lemon-almond green beans = delicious!
We were so glad to have great-grandpa Howdy and great-grandma Sharon join us for "Christmas" dinner from the great metropolis of Richfield, UT!
So happy to be at the "kids" table where the jam was never passed, the salt and pepper could never be found, and the flank steak didn't make an appearance until well into the meal!Really Lili adores these three uncles and was happy as could be to get to sit with them.
Shopping with their purses and making each other laugh so hard they just have to throw their heads back against the stairs!
Present Time! This year Courtney suggested that we simplify the gift giving process.
Each person in the family drew the name of one other person in the family.
Everybody gave one gift and everybody received one gift.
It was perfect.
We also got to have great-grandpa Chuck and great-grandma Katie join us for the festivities. They joined us for the gift exchange and brought the best gifts for the three married couples.
Beautiful dishes from my grandma's extensive collection of serving pieces.
It was a fun surprise and the perfect gift to receive from these two special people, we love you!
The girls were pretty busy with all the opening and exploring of presents, so it was tough to capture a good shot. Thanks to Uncle Jason for getting a few great candids.
