One of the rare sunny days at the beach in Northern California! 

Courtney and Eloise had a family reunion in Monterey in August then stayed to spend the weekend with us. We had a fantastic time with them and loved letting these sweet cousins play endlessly. 

 Just enjoying a picturesque stroll on the boardwalk. We had such a fun day at the beach then we went to downtown Carmel to walk around, look at shops, and have dinner. We found a delicious little Italian restaurant called, Il Napoli and fed our three starving children lots of pasta! After dinner we went to the candy shop for some sweets then headed home to bed. We put the girls to bed then stayed up for hours enjoying some "girl talk". I felt like I was back in college staying up till well past 3 am! After that fun night we decided that we need to incorporate a girls weekend for our family - a chance for just the girls to get away and eat yummy food then talk and talk and talk!

 The next weekend we were lucky to have my cute cousin Macy and her husband come stay with us. We hit a few new spots and one of my favorites was Fort Point with it's incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the bay and the city.

 We loved the old architecture, the incredible views and the company, but we did not enjoy the weather - it was Labor Day weekend and we were freezing.

We love having visitors!
