Cline Family Reunion

This year for the Cline family reunion we headed to beautiful Colorado. Both of my mom's parents grew up in the small ranching community of Craig, Colorado, just 40 miles outside of Steamboat Springs. We enjoyed visiting the sheep ranch my grandma grew up on, many of the homes they lived in, museums of the area, lots of great stories and of course lots of delicious food!


Friday night we took a break from the family history stuff and went to the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series. Most of you know that Liliahna is terrified of animals and I'm not sure that the bucking broncos helped change her mind!

In front of one of the old homes my Grandpa grew up in. Grandpa Chuck LOVES to tell stories and as you can tell from the microphone on his shirt, we were lucky to have Kylan record all those memories. It was fun to hear about drunken brawls at the armory dance hall, swimming at the water hole, and steamy car windows...not with my Grandma! (Grandma told us that one!)

I'm so glad to have my grandparents both around and especially grateful for this chance to learn more about them.
