This summer was filled with lots of fun vacations for us. Kylan and I keep wondering when we’re going to have to be responsible and choose one vacation over another…not yet! Kylan is lucky to have a very flexible job where as long as he is responsible he can pretty much take off whatever time he “needs”!
This summer we spent a lot of time at Lake Powell. Both the Lundeens and Hawks families love to vacation there so we were able to take a couple of trips down there. Kylan and I both love Lake Powell and were happy to find out that Lili does too! She loves boat rides (she usually ends up asleep!), playing in the sand, and of course floating in the water with dad. We're trying really hard not to let Lili eat too much junk food, but one day while we were at the lake Lili got some sunscreen in her eyes (note her right eye, Banana Boat Tear Free is NOT Tear Free!) and was very sad. The only thing we could find to help her feel better was a piece of licorice...what can you do?
Liliahna was also introduced to the ocean this summer. The Lundeen’s take an annual trip to San Diego, so this year Kylan was able to show Lili the waves for the first time. She was pretty interested in them until a big one surprised them and crashed right into their faces!
